A Few Facts About The Israel School System

- Kids have to go to school from age 6 to 16; education is free until
they're 18
-Also, to deal with all the different peoples and the different needs
of the people within Israel, schools that are recognized by the state
are divided into 4 groups.  Most kids go to state schools, which are
just like our public schools.  Then there are state religious schools,
and by religion, we mean Judaism.  These focus on Jewish studies and
such.  Arab and Druze schools teach their kids in Arabic, and focus
specifically on theur own history and culture.  Finally, there are
the assorted private schools.
