The
Natick USY Board is the group of Senior USYers who plan
programs and make decisions for Senior USY and the
chapter as a whole. Board members are elected annually by
the entire chapter. Those who choose to run for an office
on the board understand that they are leaders in our
chapter and represent Natick USY at regional and
international events. Therefore, there are certain
guidelines that each board member follows. These
guidelines include:
- Attend four
services monthly, two of which must be on
Shabbat.
- Follow the rules of
Kashrut as much as possible inside the house;
completely outside the house.
- Attend 90%
of chapter events; attend 100% of board
meetings.
- Must engage in the
supervised study of Judaism at least 2
hours per week.
- Must be able to read
Hebrew
- Must set an example
by the observance of Shabbat and the Jewish
Holidays
